IF YOU WANT TO EXPERIENCE THE INNER FABRIC OF PORTLAND, WALK INTO THE DOORS OF TENDER LOVING EMPIRE. Fast becoming as iconic as household names like Stumptown Coffee, Voodoo Doughnuts and the prestigious Powell's Bookstore, Tender Loving Empire (TLE) represents the creative undercurrent that makes this city so unique. TLE is a creative conduit and presents something for all the senses. One part record label that hosts an amazing roster of bands; another part consignment store giving space to a wide cast community of talented artists and makers. TLE is also a screen-printing company that has made countless designs for on totes and shirts.
Started with a passion in 2007 by Jared and Brianne Mees, this husband and wife duo have extended their family to a growing number of artists and innovators. It makes sense that they've just opened a new store at the Portland Airport as it's the first thing you see when you land and serves as the perfect ambassador to the city it loves and continues to support for all these years.
